Capital City CASA Raise Your Glass

Presented by, and held at, Capital Bluffs Event Center, the Feb. 11 “Raise Your Glass” event gave people attending a chance to sample products from Mid-Missouri’s best wineries, breweries and distilleries — for a cause.

All proceeds were to benefit Capital City Court Appointed Special Advocates, a volunteer-oriented organization made up of a network of people from all walks of life who believe society has a fundamental obligation to make sure children thrive, are treated with dignity and are kept safe. Its volunteers, appointed by judges, watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children.
